Grew up in Salem, Oregon where he competed in High School tennis at Sprague. Won four individual district titles, and helped the team win a state title in 08-09. Was the number 2 ranked player in the state his last two years of High School. Went on to play Division 1 tennis at Portland State University, where he reached the number 1 spot in singles and doubles for the university. Has taught tennis in past summers for Salem Tennis & Swim Club, West Hills Racket Club, and your very own Illahe Hills Country Club. If you see him on court or around the club, don't hesitate to say hello and introduce yourself.  



Nancy Cox

Nancy Cox has been a USPTA Elite Professional since 1996. Her USPTA honors include: two years on the USPTA National Board of Directors; two years on the National Nominating Committee; eight years on the USPTA Pacific Northwest Division Board, including a six-year term as president; Pacific Northwest Division Assistant Professional of the Year and Pacific Northwest Division Professional of the Year. She was selected to the State of Washington High School Tennis Hall of Fame and attended the University of Washington where she was a four-year athlete. She was previously director of tennis at Illahe Hills Golf & Country Club. Nancy is  currently a member of the HEAD Penn Advisory Staff and is the Vice President of the USPTA National Foundation which provides grants to  programs that help economically disadvantaged people learn tennis. In the spring she helps coach the South Salem High School Women’s Tennis team. Nancy feels that being a tennis professional is an opportunity to give back to the sport that has enriched her life both personally and professionally. She resides in Salem, Oregon, with her husband and has two grown sons. She is very excited to be a part of growing tennis in Salem and is looking forward to getting to know the membership and helping them to improve their game.
