Junior Tennis Programs
Winter 2020
Class Descriptions
The following classes are based on the USTA Net Generation program. The format of every class includes a warm-up, giving players a chance to become engaged. Skill development involves fundamentals like agility, balance and coordination, and follow structured progressions (sending and receiving skills such as rolling, tossing (underhand), throwing (overhand) and catching, as well more tennis-specfic activies. These skills function as building blocks for serve, rally and score along with tactics, technique and movement. Using red, orange and green dot balls on smaller courts will help students develop confidence and enable them to rally quickly. We believe that a student's foundation is the most important aspect of their later success and that a protracted plan of developing a player at the beginning stages will yield a stronger, more flexible competitor.

Tuesday 5:15pm-5:45pm | Wednesday 11:30am-12:00pm | Thursday 3:00pm-3:30pm
